The main goal of this thesis is to create a self-learning algorithm for the solar irradiation prediction, which uses measured data as a feedback to adjust the original, freely available prediction. The output of this algorithm is a prediction of shortwave iradiation for selected locations in the Czech Republic in W/m2 on horizontal plane. This thesis also consists of reasearch on available sources of prediction and measured data, evaluation of the accuracy of these sources, algorithm description and evaluation of the accuracy of the final prediction.
