PID controllers for systems with time delay

Practical purpose of this work is to create functions in Matlab for the design of PID controllers for systems with time delay and then implement functions to an existing GUI. The PID controller based on the requirements of the phase or amplitude margins are realized by frequency design methods. Time delay and several methods for designing systems loaded with time delay are described in this thesis. Grafic user interface makes it possible to choose appropriate parameters of the controller and also draws results of the selected controllers. Finally, the own design and standard design methods are evaluated according to quality of regulation.
