Infrared communication based on FPGA

This bachelor thesis is aimed to data transfer by infrared radiation. Theoretical section familiarizes with the most using modulation, data transfer and protocols for remote controls. A practical part of the thesis describes interconnection between the infraport modul and FPGA. There is mentioned system implemented in FPGA for controling infrared module, which allows the machine receives and transmitions information in several formats. The system is created in VHDL language and the system uses microcontroler PicoBlaze. All programs and projects created for the thesis are enclosed on the CD.
