Embedded Device with CANopen Communication Protocol

This diploma thesis is focused on the development of embedded device providing CANopen communication protocol support for the 16 bit microcontroller. The diploma thesis describes CANopen communication protocol, CAN communication layer and port of the software equipment used by microcontroller.
The CanFestival project has been chosen as base of CANopen communication stack and lave node implementation. The project has been ported to the target CPU and integrated with its runtime support environment and required target CAN controller routines has been implemented.
