DC Load Flow Modelling of European Power Grid

The prupose of this master thesis is speedup of an power distribution networks modelation software. The network model is formulated as a MILP optimization problem. The main part of this extension is implementation of several heuristic methods that lead to significant reduction of external solver time requirements. The efficiency of the implemented methods is tested by annual simulations on provided models of Czech and European distribution networks. The work also includes analysis of numerical stability. The robustness test of solution algorithm is included as well.
