Model and control algorithms for linear combustion engine

This diploma thesis deals with model and control of linear combustion engine. Linear combustion engine transform chemical energy of petrol to electric energy. It consist of linear electromotor and two combustion engines in one center line. The engine moves from one to an other side. There is no turning there. This type of engine can be used in the future for hybric vehicles. Because of his efficincy and low polution. The engine is mechanicaly very simple. That can be the reason for long durability. Model and control algorithms are tested on created model of engine and compared with real prototype results.
