Implementation of electricity trader behavior modelin liberalized energy market environment of the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with implementation of a model describing behavior of wholesale electricity traders, who buy electrical energy at one year forward liberalized market of the Czech Republic. Calculations of the economically optimal purchase are performed by linear optimization in Lpsolve tool. The outputs of the model are economically optimal coverage of the consumption diagram, sold electrical energy of each producer and prediction of power disbalance in the transmission system caused by the market. This work is based on principles and the model created in a different project and brings some improvements which help to make the model more realistic.
