Optimal Tuning of PID Controllers

The goal of the bachelor thesis was to develop the set of procedures that deal with an optimal PID controller design. All the procedures have been developed in Mathworks Matlab environment and taken into account following user input parameters: phase margin, gain margin, bandwidth and steady-state error. The theoretical part of the thesis covers control systems theory essentials and the design algorithm description. The practical part describes comparison of the controllers that were designed by developed procedures and by classic frequency analysis methods.
