Airship - Basic Control

This diploma thesis deals with design of control system for a model airship. The design solves problems of manual control by joystick and fully independent control driven by sensorial system. The thesis includes detailed description of the model and its parts. There are comprised measurements of the model's characteristic and statistical processing of these measurements. Complete design of airborne control electronics including design of printed circuit board are also documented. Further there are included descriptions of computer software design, description of wireless communication among airborne and ground control unit and communications protocol. Final section sums up achieved results and describes possibillities of advancement of this project.
