Functional electrical stimulation for correction of dropped foot

This document creates introduction to problems functional electrical stimulation and it is intended especially for electrical engineering. There is described mathematical model of contraction skeletal muscle in theoretic part of document. Practical part summarize technical aspects of problems and briefly describe list of commercial stimulators, electrodes and sensors for gait phase detection. Main part of work consist in design of new portable electrostimulator.
