PHP Interface for Searching and Management of Site Map

This master thesis analyses methods how to create site maps, i.e. maps of a specified web site that inform about relations among pages and their content. Our map generator is designed as a web interface that utilizes preprocessed data in XML format. User's requests are specified as queries, which are sent to a processing queue. After finishing an entered request, the result is first stored in XML and then converted into a tree structure, in which it is possible to see a hierarchy of the web. Every item in this tree structure presents the overview of basic characteristics of one web page, as the amounts of texts, pictures, and downloads.
