System for position measurement with optical encoder

Objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze possibilities of the optic position sensor proposal and its realization. Analysis consists in a proper chose of pair of the transmitter and the detector of radiation which the basic elements of optic sensor are. Realization is the proposal of a sensor and its construction. It enables us to test measuring circuit with evaluation part added later.. Measurement and signal evaluation is realized with the help of user environmnet Simulink in Matlab.
