Komunikace Profinet IO

The thesis concerns a new communication concept for industrial distributed applications that is called Pro—net IO. It presents realization of a control network unit (IO-Controller) using a common PC and a standard Ethernet adapter. The IO-Controller application is based on the Siemens library that provides an e®ective solution. The application is extended by diagnostic functions which enable to monitor and validate the communication process. This solution is not necessarily to be run o the Windows platform that has been originally developed for but it is easily portable. To demonstrate the portability the application has been set going on the Linux platform.
