This thesis is focused on the phenomenon of knocking in spark-ignition engines. Knocking is caused by the "bad" burning of the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber of the engine. It can lead to its destruction. Oscillation of a piston caused by knocking appears on relatively constant frequency because it is mainly due to its mechanical dimensions. The object of this thesis is to detect the knocking and its frequency using accelerometers mounted near the combustion chamber. The main part of this thesis is the library of the advisory system with the program that calls it. This allows it to display the frequency characteristics required to detect knocking and its frequency.
