The demonstrator of building automation

The subject of this thesis is to build up a model construction of a family house equipped with a smart wiring system. A proprietary PLC from WAGO company serves as the central control unit for the house. It offers a lot of additional modules which enhance the controller with a variety of I/O interfaces and also enable an interconnection with some open protocol buses used for the building automation. The protocols used in the project represent some of the most spreaded recent systems e.g.: KNX/EIB, BACnet, DALI and EnOcean. The purpose of such a construction is its planned use as a student's tool in teaching both centralized and distributed control in the area of the home automation.
