Modeling and optimization of logical processes in Pivovary Staropramen, a. s.

The giant corporation Pivovary Staropramen holds significant market share as a beer producer in the Czech Republic. Its production logistics consists of many bottling and keg lines as well as tens of distribution centers. Rich portfolio of about two hundred kinds of products is beeing delivered every day to customers from all over the republic and significat portion of production come to export. Efficiency of such extensive logistics structure is the main prerequisite for economical prosperity of the company. No sofisticated planning tool based on mathematical description of the problem is used, though.

The goal of this thesis is to complete a model of logistics presented in [1] and above all offer a study of potential and benefits of logistics optimization tool as well as a concept of the actual realization using mathematical programming.
