Diploma thesis describes problems of hardware peripherals simulation and automatic code generation, applied in the development of embedded devices using a method of rapid prototyping. The thesis discuses the advantages and principles of automatic code generation in Matlab/Simulink and Processor Expert while using Peslib block-set. The Peslib blockset has been extended by block PWMMC.

Usage and operation of the Peslib block-set is demonstrated on an example of the BLDC motor control process. This task includes modeling, simulation and implementation of control algorithms followed by automatic C code generation for the target application controller.
