Profibus DP master in FPGA

This Diploma Thesis „Profibus DP Master in FPGA“ deals with designing printed circuit board for PC/104 standard, manufacturing and bringing to life of an peripheral for PC/104. Further it goes into the field of programming Xilinx CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) devices (namely XC2S300E and XC95144XL) in VHDL (Very High Speed Integrated Circuits Hardware Description Language). But mainly it is concerned about Profibus DP (Distributed Peripherals), it’s FDL’s (Field-bus Data Link Layer) structure and it’s design for FPGA in VHDL language.
