This thesis is concerned with design and implementation of software part for automatic fish breed control. Potency of use of free software in control is exploited, using Linux operating system and libraries ACE and ORTE. Object oritented features of programming language C++ were used. The result is a modular control program, that provides means for communication with superior control system.
