Graphical interface for design fuzzy systems

The thesis deals with software applications supporting design, validation and implementation of fuzzy systems. It summarizes fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic basics and describes common procedure for manual design of a fuzzy system. After this theoretical introduction there is an overview of commercial and academical products used in the specified domain. The evaluation criteria are defined and tested applications are compared. The user point of view (ease of control, design, lucidity and so on) is emphasized. The results are used as a basis for proposing a genuine user interface of a software environment supporting design of fuzzy systems. Its characteristics satisfy the specified criteria and eliminate drawbacks of the existing applications.
