This thesis deals with conceptual design and construction of a digital control unit for modeler jet engine (FADEC). The unit is designed to be compatible with visualization software provided by a fellow student Miroslav H�ajek. A brief description of basic functional principles and properties of a small turbine is given in the �rst part. The control unit, built around the Philips LPC 2119 microcontroller is described in the following parts, along with some preliminary results acquired during lab testing.
