The aim of this bachelor thesis was to modify and extend the educational model of inverted pendulum, which is located in laboratory K23 of Czech Technical University in Prague, Department of Control Engineering. A description of the model was made including Simulink templates, which will be used by students in control lessons. Finally, a sample regulator, which stabilizes the pendulum in the upward position, was designed for presentation purposes.
