This bachelor thesis was written in order to support the education in the Department of Control Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. It consists of two parts. First part deals with examples of identfication of dynamic systems with lumped parameters. Methods of identi¯cation are demonstrated by typical solved examples and these are complemented by a set of motivational unsolved examples. To examples models in Matlab Simulink were created. Second part deals with creating of a nonlinear model of four interconnected watertanks then its linearization at general operating point and designing a model in Matlab Virtual Reality Toolbox environment.
