GSM module connected to FPGA

Project deals with connection of GSM module and FPGA and its establishment. Used development desk Celoxica RC10 with FPGA Spartan3, soft-core mikrocontroler PicoBlaze and GSM modul Motorola G24 are described in teoretical part. In practical part there is described designed and realized connection of development desk RC10 and module GSM. Demo application providing automatic SMS sending is also a part of the project. The application is designed as summoning device for group (unit) of voluntary firefighters. The unit sends SMS to members of fire brigade during the alarm. - this SMS is sent from command centre and includes information on type and place of action.
